PHOTO MANIPULATION AND ETHICS

     Over time, newspaper and magazine companies have found that their journalists have been digitally altering some of the images they use in the article to make them more interesting or to cover up mistakes. There have been a lot more journalists that have done this without people finding out than you would think. And then theres probably the ones who no one has caught yet. The journalists did this for all different reasons. one journalist manipulated an image of a missile launch, to make it look like the launch went perfectly, when in reality, one of the missiles failed. I think manipulating photos is wrong, because even if its an image to go with a story in a magazine, if the picture is wrong, we are getting the wrong information and we are being tricked.
